Making absolutely delicious, mouthwateringly incredible chocolate truffles (and ice creams) is what we do. It’s what Booja-Booja is all about. But creating new, chocolate truffle flavours, flavours that make your taste buds tingle and your heart go all aflutter, that doesn’t just happen overnight. Mister Booja-Booja and his truffle making team are dedicated to deliciousness, scrupulous about scrumptiousness and meticulous about magnificence. Only the most ravishing recipes make the grade. And only when the crunch and the chew are beautifully balanced and the aroma and the melt lusciously aligned, only then can a new truffle flavour be launched. Now you’ll understand why we don’t launch a new flavour every month!
However this summer is very special as we’re thrilled to be launching not just one or two new flavours but a brand new vegan chocolate truffle range. We’ve been developing and crafting, tweaking and honing for months and months, until we felt happy to present you with a full set of four fantastically flavoursome chocolate truffle delights. Each one is available in a box of its own but we’re also launching The Signature Collection; a stunning selection box, featuring our new ‘fab four’.
Our new chocolate truffle flavours (all vegan and organic of course) are Honeycomb Caramel, Deeply Chocolate, Chocolate Salted Caramel and Chocolate Orange. Each one is a classic taste adventure made super special with a little Booja magic!
If you’re a Booja-Booja aficionado you may be thinking ‘but Honeycomb Caramel is not new’ and we must admit that there is definitely some truth in that. We’ve been making a Honeycomb Caramel Chocolate Truffle for a few years, available only as part of our chilled chocolate truffle range because for its honeycomb pieces to stay scrunchily crunchy it needed to be kept below 5C. We were never truly happy with that. We wanted to find a way for this blissful bundle of yumminess to reach more people more easily. So, our top chocolate team have been busy busy busy, thinking outside the box and inside the truffle, experimenting and exploring until they created the perfect blend of masterly chocolate melt and heavenly honeycomb crunch. And so, our brand new, scrunchily crunchy, melt-in-the-mouth Honeycomb Caramel Chocolate Truffle was born. We love it and we’re pretty sure you will too!
Next on our wish list was a truffle that put chocolate firmly in the spotlight. We’ve created a lot of glorious flavour combinations over the years and we felt the time had come to press pause on the toffee and the nuts, the caramel and the fruit. The time had come for the ultimate, sumptuous, pure chocolate truffle experience. Deeply Chocolate.
Some might call Deeply Chocolate an ‘unflavoured’ truffle, or even perhaps a ‘plain’ truffle. But, trust us, the opposite is really true. When you’re not using any other ingredients, the flavour of the chocolate itself becomes even more important. We knew we wanted this to be a exceptionally smooth chocolate truffle experience that would captivate and enchant with its totally truffley loveliness.
