Booja-Booja Dairy Free Ice Cream has scooped the Vegfest UK Award for Best Vegan Dessert for the second year running. The Norfolk company’s six-flavour range won more than 40% of the votes in the Best Dessert category, leaving the second-placed brand trailing more than 1000 votes behind.
Featuring luxurious flavours such as Caramel Pecan Praline, Raspberry Ripple and Chocolate Salted Caramel, Booja-Booja Dairy Free Ice Creams are not only vegan but dairy, gluten and soya free. They are also organic and made with just a handful of simple, natural ingredients and no refined sugar.
The Vegfest UK Awards, now in its 12th year, promotes the best vegan brands and groups in the UK. This year the awards featured 18 categories with 10 nominees in each with the winners decided by a public online vote, which took place over 6 weeks.
Having won the award for Best Chilled/Frozen Vegan Dessert in 2017, Booja-Booja is delighted to have secured its winning position for a second consecutive year. Louise Collins, Marketing Coordinator says,
