The Good Housekeeping Institute are truly an institution when it comes to taste tests. And we were delighted to find that, this year, top of the pops in 2018 is the Booja-Booja Hazelnut Easter Egg!
After taste testing a mere 142 Easter eggs, the team at Good Housekeeping has today exclusively revealed the best tasting eggs on the market in 2018, from novelty offerings to showstopper beauties. Their judging panel blind-tasted hundreds of Easter eggs from milk, white and dark chocolate eggs to a whole range of Free From varieties.
We were overjoyed that our organic Hazelnut Easter Egg came out top within the Free From category, scoring a massive 89/100.
But then it was announced that the beautiful Booja-Booja hand-painted Hazelnut Easter Egg had beaten all other 141 eggs and gained the highest score across eight categories, to be crowned overall winner of the prestigious Good Housekeeping Easter Egg Taste Test 2018! Happy Days! Fabulous news that dairy free chocolate can beat all other offerings to be named most tasty and delicious. Truly the icing on our Simnel Cake at Booja-Booja HQ this Easter!
Booja-Booja eggs have also been featured in ‘Best Buy’ guides in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Daily Mail and Olive Magazine to name but a few. These very special Easter eggs are handmade and hand painted in Kashmir, India by an incredibly talented community of artists using specialist techniques handed down through the generations.
Booja-Booja Easter Eggs are available in four flavours – Hazlenut, Almond Salted Caramel, Fine De Champagne and Around Midnight Espresso and in two sizes – large containing 12 truffles and small containing 3 truffles. Each hand painted egg is a mini masterpiece, making a beautiful keepsake or trinket box long after the truffles are a distant memory.
