This is a luxuriously healthy way to enjoy hot chocolate this winter. It’s healthy because it uses almond milk which is plant-based and better for you. It also uses Booja-Booja Fine de Champagne chocolate truffles – organic, dairy-free, gluten-free, soya-free – these truffles use only the best wholesome ingredients with the finest grade chocolate and Fine de Champagne. All these things combined, is what makes this luxurious yet wholesome drink one to snuggle up with. Who said dairy-free isn’t lavish?
I’ve used three truffles in my recipe, which is very chocolatey. Alternatively, two truffles will suffice!
2 – 3 Fine de Champagne Booja-Booja, finely chopped
200ml sweetened (or unsweetened) almond milk
- Finely chop your Fine de Champagne Booja-Booja
- In a milk pan, place the almond milk on a low-medium heat
- When the milk is warm, add the finely chopped truffles
- Heat gently until the chocolate has fully melted
- Remove from heat and froth for a few seconds
NB: You’ll find Booja-Booja Fine de Champagne chilled truffles in all good fine food halls and independent shops. You can also find Fine de Champagne tuffles as part of Booja-Booja’s Selection Box No1, available in the chilled cabinet at selected Waitrose stores – next to the posh desserts.
