Our chocolate truffles are delectably delicious because they are crafted in our own, unique Booja-Booja way and contain the perfectly minimal number of natural, organic ingredients with no artificial preservatives, stabilisers or additives. However, this does mean that they are very delicate and very sensitive to heat. So, to continue to enjoy them at their very best throughout the Summer we suggest that you follow a few simple guidelines… we like to think of them as 3 steps to heaven!
1. Buy your Booja last… if you’re out and about doing your shopping, make your Booja-Booja stockist your final stop so your truffles don’t have too far to travel before getting somewhere cool. And remember, your local stockist may well be keeping their Booja-Booja in the fridge over the Summer so don’t despair if you can’t see them in their usual spot on the shelf. While you’re at the fridge keep your eyes peeled for our new Chilled Truffle Collection; brightly coloured Six Truffle Packs and foil wrapped Two Truffle Packs, which are chilled all the way from our kitchen to your favourite shop all year round.
2. Keep your Booja in the fridge. Our truffles really want to be stored below 16°C, which is a lot, lot cooler than most of our homes. So, unless you have a particularly cool larder please pop your truffles in the fridge as soon as you get home.
3. Take your Booja out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you plan to eat them. This little trick will give your truffles the chance to reach their absolute melt-your-mouth, gorgeous best before you enjoy them. Yes, we know this one might be a bit tricky, especially if you just NEED a little Booja and need it now! But if you can wait just a little while, you’ll be oh so glad you did.
It’s as simple as that. We hope this helps you enjoy a truffletastic Summer, whatever the weather!
