We are delighted to let you know that Booja-Booja has become the first independent chocolate maker to become a Living Wage employer. The Living Wage is calculated each year by an independent body. It takes into account all the costs of living and is updated annually. It enjoys cross party support and there are now over 1,800 accredited organisations across the UK.

We are very passionate about how we function as a company, with respect and kindness being very close to our hearts. It’s incredibly important to us to act responsibly towards our employees and, as such, we’re keen to do everything we can to pay our team a wage that reflects their dedication and hard work, plus the actual cost of living. Our accreditation means that we have made a commitment to pay all our staff at least the Living Wage of £7.85 an hour; significantly more than the national minimum wage of £6.50 per hour.
