Head of Marketing

Booja-Booja is seeking a Head of Marketing to create and deliver its marketing strategy in line with the company’s core values and brand guidelines, to ensure Booja-Booja achieves its vision of becoming a nationally cherished brand.

We envisage this being a part-time role at approximately 60-80% FTE.

Aligning with our core values of respect, professionalism and innovation, you will lead the creation and development of the marketing strategy and manage the implementation of marketing communications through all channels.  You will support the sales team in developing appropriate and effective plans, campaigns and activities including product launches, promotions, exhibitions, trade media, sales development and brand awareness whilst leading, coaching and developing the marketing team to flourish and play an effective part in delivering marketing objectives.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide appropriate insight on target markets, customers, competitors and consumer groups and consistently represent the company in an appropriate, positive fashion and take responsibility for creating and developing a positive culture which supports the core values.

The ideal candidate will already have a sales and marketing management background with successful national brand(s), preferably food or “related” industry. Ideally in possession of a relevant marketing qualification i.e. Chartered CIM, or marketing degree and with experience working within the free-from food sector, or with allergen sensitive products.
